Description
The Smith-Blair Style 264 is a single-band, all-stainless Full Circle repair clamp with a threaded outlet. A 360° gridded Nitrile gasket gives complete leak repair at broken or torn-out service connections and branch lines, and it serves as a new outlet on pipe drilled before installation. Fabricated stainless lugs and a keeper bar pull the clamp around the pipe and close it during installation.
Application: leaks at service outlets, broken or torn-out service connections and branch lines, and new outlets on pre-drilled pipe.
Key Features
- Single band, up to 0.40 in of OD range per clamp; larger clamps cover a wider range
- All 304 stainless band, lugs, keeper bar, outlet and studs; fluoropolymer-coated nuts resist galling
- NPT and CC (AWWA) outlets from 3/4 to 2 in
- Repairs pipe or joins pipe ends; can be made to odd pipe ODs
- Certified to NSF/ANSI 61 and NSF/ANSI 372; meets applicable portions of AWWA C230
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the clamp with its 360° Nitrile gasket and bonded bridge plate, 304 stainless studs, nuts and washers.
Pipe drilled before installation. Install the clamp over a pipe that is already drilled, or over the leaking service outlet it repairs. Smith-Blair does not allow tapping through the clamp.
Belleville spring washers on HDPE pipe, ordered separately. Smith-Blair p/n 150115-000 washers are required on HDPE pipe (DR17 or thicker; not for gas service). Ask us to include them with the clamp.
Genuine Smith-Blair equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
12-Month Smith-Blair Warranty
Smith-Blair warrants its products to be free of defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of shipment by Smith-Blair. Dated proof of purchase, such as a bill of sale, is required to establish eligibility. Smith-Blair will repair or, at its option, replace a defective product; the product is returned to the factory or warehouse Smith-Blair designates.
Working Pressure
Up to 150 PSI. Smith-Blair rates the allowable working pressure of a repair clamp to fall as pipe diameter rises; for a particular installation it is set by pipe size and type, the type and extent of the damage, service conditions and installation workmanship.

Installation Notes
- Clean the pipe where the clamp will sit, removing scale, dirt and debris that could spoil the gasket seal.
- Lubricate the pipe and gasket with a soap-and-water solution that meets the water and pipe supplier’s requirements.
- Where the pipe ends gap 1 in or more, bridge the gap with a short section of pipe or a thin strip of sheet metal to support the gasket.
- Where 40% or more of the circumference is broken away, cover the opening with sheet metal and use a clamp that extends 3 in past it on both sides.
- Tighten from the center nut outward, keep the clamp centered on the break, and finish with a calibrated torque wrench to the torque in the instructions.
- Anchor the pipe: the clamp seals 360° around it, and Smith-Blair requires proper anchoring to restrain pipe movement and prevent pull-out.
