Product Features:

• A ductile or malleable iron coupling with threaded ends that seal the pipe when turned.
• Application Joining plain end pipe of the same diameter.
• Stab fit for easier installation
• Galvanized finish for additional corrosion resistance
• Ductile or malleable iron metal parts for strength and corrosion resistance
• May be used in most water wastewater and industrial applications
• Wrench flats on the nuts and sleeve help with holding the coupling during tightening
• The retainer cup holds the gasket in place and concentrates gasket compression where it is needed most
• The compression coupling may be used in conjunction with Smith-Blair adapter gaskets to join Copper pipe
• Protected gasket extends the life of the gasket and provides electrical continuity between the pipe and the coupling
• Deflection of 2 per end allows for pipe movement and installation on pipe that is not perfectly aligned
