Overview
The KITZ 6100 Series are resilient-seated lug butterfly valves with ASTM A536 ductile iron bodies, an extended neck and stainless steel stems, built to MSS SP-67 and API 609 Category A. From 2 to 12 in the liner is molded into the body and the valve is rated 250 psi; from 14 to 24 in it is a booted liner rated 150 psi. Choose the disc (ductile iron with electroless nickel plating, 316 stainless steel, or aluminum bronze at 14 to 24 in), the liner (EPDM or Buna-N) and the operator (lever to 8 in, gear on any size). Lug bodies are rated for bi-directional dead-end service at full working pressure with the downstream flange removed.
- Disc choice: DI-ENP, 316 SS, or aluminum bronze (14 to 24 in)
- EPDM or Buna-N liner, molded in (2 to 12 in) or booted (14 to 24 in)
- Full-rated bi-directional dead-end service
- ISO 5211 pad takes an actuator directly
- MSS SP-67 and API 609 Category A
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the valve, assembled, with its lever handle or gear operator and handwheel.
Flange bolting: sized to your flanges and ordered separately.
Actuator: where automated, sized to the valve torque and ordered separately; the ISO 5211 pad takes it directly.
Genuine KITZ equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
5-Year KITZ Warranty
Covered for 5 years when sold and installed in the U.S., under KITZ’s limited warranty for copper alloy and iron valves. KITZ replaces the product or refunds its price if it proves defective in material or workmanship, provided it was properly installed and used in the service KITZ recommends; labor, expenses and consequential damages are excluded.

Before You Order
- EPDM: -20 to 225°F continuous (250°F intermittent); KITZ does not recommend it for petroleum oils, strong acids or alkalis, or compressed air lines.
- Buna-N (NBR): 10 to 180°F; resists oil, hydraulic fluid, water and solvents; not for ketones, chlorinated hydrocarbons or ozone.
- Elastomer liners are not for steam service.
- Lever operation stops at 8 in; 10 in and up are gear operated.
