Overview
The VFI (Vortex Flow Industry) is the Grundfos industrial vortex flow transmitter: with a 316L stainless flow pipe and a 4-20 mA flow signal output. Pick the flow range that brackets your normal flow, then the pipe connection and flange material, then the elastomer that suits the liquid.
- Eight flow ranges from 1.3-26 GPM to 53-1,060 GPM
- Flanged with cast iron or 316 stainless flanges, or NPT stainless on the three smaller ranges
- EPDM or FKM elastomers: choose the one compatible with the pumped liquid
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the VFI flow transmitter in the selected option with a 16.4 ft cable (Grundfos price list).
Power: 12.5-30 VDC supply, from the pump electronics or a separate supply.
Spare or longer cable: M12 4-wire cables are sold separately in the E-pump accessories listing.
Genuine Grundfos equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Warranty: 24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture (Grundfos limited warranty). Grundfos repairs or replaces its own product; costs of removal, installation and transportation are not covered, and products sold but not manufactured by Grundfos carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.
