Overview
Grundfos lists each MLE motor by the CR(I,N)E pump size it is built for, so one horsepower comes in several part numbers. Pick the horsepower and supply on the pump nameplate, then the pump size (the motor for a CRE 10 also fits the CRIE 10 and CRNE 10), then the speed, and check the NEMA frame against the motor you are replacing.
- 3600 rpm: the original 3400-3600 rpm MLE motor, listed for almost every pump size
- 4000 rpm: the 4000 rpm build Grundfos lists for CRE 1 to 20 only; order it for a 4000 rpm CRE pump
- Grundfos can pre-program MLE motors; ask us when you order

Included: one Grundfos MLE motor with its built-in drive, for the pump size and speed in the selected option (Grundfos price list).
Programming: Grundfos can pre-program MLE motors before they ship (Grundfos price list); ask us when you order.
Pump end, coupling and sensor: not included; the sensor for constant-pressure or other closed-loop control is ordered separately.
Genuine Grundfos equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Warranty: 24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture (Grundfos limited warranty). Grundfos repairs or replaces its own product; costs of removal, installation and transportation are not covered, and products sold but not manufactured by Grundfos carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.

Before You Buy — The Limits That Decide the Fit

| Pump size |
The motor is listed by pump size because the shaft, flange and drive set-up differ; order the size on your pump nameplate (CRE, CRIE and CRNE of one size take the same motor). |
| Speed |
Match the speed of the pump: 4000 rpm motors are only for CRE 1 to 20 pumps built for 4000 rpm; check the part number or speed on the motor you are replacing. |
| Supply |
Three-phase 200-240V and 440-480V motors are different part numbers; check the supply before ordering. |
| Frame |
The NEMA frame is in the last option, before the part number; it must match the pump motor stool. |
| Programming |
A replacement motor is supplied for the pump size, not your set point: re-enter the control mode and set point, or have Grundfos pre-program it. |
