Overview
Spare kits Grundfos lists for its MLE motors, the variable speed motors on CRE, CRIE and CRNE pumps. Each kit fits the motor horsepower and supply in its option; find both on the motor nameplate. A motor kit is the motor less its fan cover, fan and VFD, so a full rebuild of the drive end and the electronics takes the matching VFD kit as well.
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the one kit in the selected option (Grundfos price list).
Motor kit: supplied less fan cover, fan and VFD (Grundfos price list); order those kits separately if they are needed.
VFD kit: terminal boxes must be configured at Grundfos for the specific horsepower and application (Grundfos price list); ask for configuration when ordering.
Genuine Grundfos equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Warranty: 24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture (Grundfos limited warranty). Grundfos repairs or replaces its own product; costs of removal, installation and transportation are not covered, and products sold but not manufactured by Grundfos carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.
