Overview
The CRE 64 is the CR 64 pump end on a Grundfos MLE motor with the frequency converter built in, so the pump varies its own speed to hold a setpoint instead of running flat out against a throttled valve. The pump head and base are cast iron; all other wetted parts are stainless steel (AISI 304). Grundfos rates the CR 64 at 339 GPM nominal duty at 3600 rpm; size it from the performance table below.

Included: the CRE 64 pump end and its Grundfos MLE motor with built-in frequency converter, factory-assembled as one complete pump. With-sensor versions come with a pressure sensor in the range shown for the model.
ANSI companion flanges required, ordered separately, sized 4 in to match the pump flanges.
Without-sensor versions: for constant-pressure control, add a sensor or an external control signal.
Suction and discharge piping, valves, power supply and disconnect: sized to your system and ordered separately.
Genuine Grundfos equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.
Warranty: 24 months from date of installation, but not more than 30 months from date of manufacture (Grundfos limited warranty). Grundfos repairs or replaces its own product; costs of removal, installation and transportation are not covered, and products sold but not manufactured by Grundfos carry their own manufacturer’s warranty.

Pressure the pump develops at full speed at each flow, in PSI, rounded down (feet = PSI × 2.31). Shut-off is Grundfos’s published maximum head. Flow columns are read from the 100% speed curve on the Grundfos 60 Hz chart for each model and motor (water at 68 °F), digitized and rounded down, at 20%, 50%, 75% and 100% of 440 GPM, the last regular flow every curve in this listing reaches; the curves end at 443.5 to 461.6 GPM. Grundfos’s published duty point sits below its own curve by more than 3% of shut-off on CRE 64-3-2 (30 HP), CRE 64-1-1 (10 HP) (by up to 12 ft at the rated flow); the table follows the curve. The CRE 64-1-1 (10 HP) curve reads 111 ft at zero flow against 105 ft published; the published figure is shown. On CRE 64-1-1 (10 HP), CRE 64-3-2 (30 HP) the curve rises above its zero-flow head at low flow (by up to 4 ft); the published shut-off is kept and the flow columns follow the curve. At reduced speed the pump runs on a lower curve; full Grundfos charts with the reduced-speed curves are in the product images.
