Overview
Fhoton Surface SolarPAK systems cover pressure boosting and water transfer running on the power of the sun. They use Franklin’s proven cast iron and stainless steel surface pumps, matched to a Fhoton solar controller across a range of horsepower sizes.
Applications: turf irrigation, water transfer, pressure boosting, water circulation, fountains and commercial water features, wash-down, animal hydration, rainwater harvesting and general purpose pumping — boosting from a cistern, a solar fountain or another surface source.
What is in the package: the Fhoton solar controller, the Franklin Electric pump and motor, and a low-flow cut-off switch. The model code reads FDSP (Fhoton Drive SolarPAK), then the system horsepower, then the basic pump model.
What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the Fhoton solar controller, the Franklin pump and motor (assembled), and the low-flow cut-off switch, as one SolarPAK order number.
Solar panels, array mounting and DC wiring: not included; sized to your site and quoted separately. The controller accepts 115 to 420 VDC from the array.
Piping, valves and a tank if you need storage: not included.
Genuine Franklin Electric equipment, factory-new in original packaging — sold and supported by Watermain Supply, an independent industrial supplier.

Performance — Will It Do What You Need?
A solar pump's flow depends on how much array power reaches it, so Franklin publishes each package as flow against PV power at a set of total heads. Those curves are in the images above. The table gives the head range each package is published for, and the pump and motor dimensions.
