Overview

A complete 3VR or 3VRL pump end — casing, stack, seal and motor mount — without the motor. The pump end carries the thrust load on its own oversized bearing, so it runs on stock NEMA motors in a wide range of ratings and enclosures; special high-thrust motors are not required.

All wetted components are 316 stainless steel (N version).

What Ships and What It Needs to Run

Included: the pump end only: casing, hydraulic stack, cartridge seal and motor mount, without motor.

Motor, companion flanges and starter or drive: ordered separately. The selector shows the motor horsepower and NEMA C-face frame each pump end needs.

Digitized from the published curves in the Franklin Electric VR Series Catalog Mi9041 (3VR p. 14 and p. 16; 3VRL p. 62 and p. 64; vector data) and rounded down; feet of head = PSI × 2.31. Each curve was read on the feet scale and checked against the metric scale of the same chart (within 3%). Franklin prints no head or flow table for the VR Series. 3VR curves end at 24 GPM, 3VRL curves at 10 GPM. The 0 GPM column is the shut-off pressure, the most the pump adds to its inlet pressure. Before You Buy — The Limits That Decide the Fit

Pressure	Inlet pressure plus the shut-off pressure (0 GPM column) must stay within the 375 PSI rating of the round flange (F version)
Suction	Available NPSH must exceed the pump’s NPSH required at your maximum flow (curve pages in the catalog)
Liquid	Ratings are for clean water, +14 to +248 °F; ask us before ordering for another liquid, viscosity or specific gravity
Flanges	Companion flanges are required to adapt to threaded pipe and are ordered separately
Rotation	Clockwise looking down from the top; check three-phase rotation before running
