Dresser Style 175 Meter and Curb Valve - Compression Ends, Gas

The Dresser Style 175 combines a spring-loaded seal with permanently lubricated port seals for positive shutoff at all rated pressures. A TFE coated retaining ring keeps operating torque low and uniform, so the plug does not freeze to the body.

Application: Gas meter sets, curb valves and service line shutoff.

• Oil-tempered steel spring holds the seal
• 360 turn or 90 degree open-left operation
• Compression, GTO threaded and cut-in versions

With Style 90 compression ends, Dresser rates the Style 175 meter and curb valve to 150 PSI. The threaded GTO version is rated 175 PSI.

• Mark the pipe and stab it into the fitting to the full stab depth.
• On PE pipe, install the correct-SDR Dresser insert stiffener (or one qualified to DOT 192.283(b)) in every PE pipe end.
• Anchor the pipe joint wherever pull-out can occur.
