Dresser Quick-Cam Emergency Repair Clamp Kit and Replacement Panels

Quick-Cam emergency repair kits combine panels to fit a wide span of pipe ODs, so one kit on the truck covers most breaks. The 15 in kit uses 5 bolts per panel and the 24 in kit 8 bolts per panel.

Up to 150 PSI working pressure on water, falling as the panel count and diameter rise. The rating never exceeds that of the pipe it is installed on.

Steel, cast iron, ductile iron, PVC, asbestos cement and HDPE (SDR 17 or thicker, buried service only).

• Clean the pipe of rust, scale and debris, and confirm the OD with a pi tape before mounting.
• Lubricate the pipe, gasket and spanner surfaces with soapy water; do not use pipe lubricant.
• Center the clamp over the leak; the bolt-head lug can be removed in tight spaces.
• Tighten the nuts evenly from the center bolts outward to the torque on the product label, using a calibrated torque wrench.
• Check for leaks, re-tighten if needed, then backfill carefully to give the clamp earth support.
• On HDPE, use SDR 17 or thicker pipe and buried service only.
• 14 in to 30 in kits ship with pre-formed spanners; on other ranges, form the spanner to the pipe radius before installing.
