What Ships and What It Needs to Run
Included: the cast iron sewage pump with oil-filled motor, quick-disconnect cord and, on the A and V models, a wide-angle or vertical float switch.
Float or control panel required on manual models, ordered separately. Use a piggyback float such as the Pumpmaster or Verticalmaster, or a control panel.
Sized at install: sewage basin and lid, check valve, shutoff valve, discharge and vent piping, alarm.
Overview
1/2 HP submersible pumps that handle up to 2 in solids with a 2 in FNPT discharge, for basements, dewatering, septic systems, sewage lift stations, add-a-baths and truck docks. Heads reach 25 ft and flows 109 GPM, per the catalog.
Manual or float? Manual models have no switch: they run from a piggyback float switch plugged in behind the pump cord, or from a control panel. Wide-angle float models carry their own float. The piggyback design means a defective switch can be replaced without replacing the pump.

McDonald Pumps & Accessories price list, effective 7/1/26). Per Baker’s terms, the warranty does not cover failure caused by sand or abrasive materials in the water.

Before You Buy — The Limits That Decide the Fit
