Description
The JCM 432 stainless steel tapping sleeve uses replaceable, self-aligning bolts that can be torqued to 125 ft-lb for high gasket pressure, and a full circumferential gasket with a molded-in recessed bridge plate that seals the whole pipe, insurance against beam breaks on size-on-size taps.
All stainless construction joins the stainless flange, outlet and body as one unit of similar metals for the highest strength and corrosion resistance.
Typical application: Branching: line branches, valves, internal line access.

Tapping valve and tapping machine, ordered separately. A flanged tapping valve bolts to the outlet; size-on-size taps need a 1/2 in undersized shell cutter.

12-Month Warranty
Covered for 12 months from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Keep the dated invoice as proof of purchase.
Working Pressure
175 PSI working (262.5 PSI test) on 2-12 in outlets per AWWA C228; 150 PSI on pipe with a full circumferential break. JCM's service rating; higher ratings are available for specific applications and sizes.
