Goulds Residential Water Systems

Residential Water SolutionsWells · Boosters · Sumps · Drinking Water Certified

Complete residential water systems from Goulds Water Technology — well pumps, jet pumps, packaged pressure boosters, and pre-charged storage tanks for single-family homes, cottages, mobile homes, and small farms. NSF 61 certified for drinking water across the lineup.

Common Residential Water Needs

Match your situation to the right Goulds product family below.

Well Water Supply

Pulling water from a drilled or driven well to the home. Shallow well, deep well, or convertible jet pump depending on static water level.

Low Municipal Pressure

City water supply pressure too low for upper floors or peak demand. Packaged pressure booster delivers consistent pressure throughout the home.

Cistern / Storage Tank Boost

Re-pressurize water from a cistern, well storage tank, or rainwater collection system to deliver constant pressure to fixtures.

Pressure Tank Replacement

Replace a failing pre-charged pressure tank with a new HydroPro tank — sized to your pump's drawdown and cycling characteristics.

Whole-Home Replacement

Replace an entire residential water system — pump and tank package configured and tested at the factory for plug-and-play installation.

Irrigation & Outdoor Water

Sprinkler systems, hose bibs, and small-property irrigation requiring pressure boost or direct pumping from a water source.

Featured Residential Product Families

Three Goulds product families cover virtually every residential water application.

Residential Sizing Decisions

Common questions where engineering input gets you to the right product family.

Shallow vs Deep Well

Static water level under 25 ft = shallow well jet pump (single pipe). Over 25 ft = deep well or convertible (twin pipe). We confirm based on well log or measurement.

Jet Pump vs AquaCase

Pulling from a well = jet pump. Boosting existing supply (municipal or tank) with smart monitoring = AquaCase. Different problems, different products.

Tank Sizing

Larger tank drawdown = fewer pump cycles = longer pump life. V60 (62 gal) for whole-home service, V45 for moderate demand, V15 for limited installs.

Voltage & Service

230V is preferred for HP > 1 — lower current draw, smaller wire, longer motor life. 115V acceptable for ½ HP residential applications.

Why Watermain Supply for Residential Goulds

NSF 61 certification across the lineup. Every Goulds residential pump on offer is certified for drinking water service per NSF/ANSI 61 and 372. This is required by most local plumbing codes and is the baseline requirement for any pump in contact with potable water.

Engineering-led sizing on every quote. We don't just sell you the pump you ask for — we confirm your application requirements (well depth, fixture demand, voltage availability, installation environment) and recommend the right pump and tank combination. Wrong-sized pumps fail early; right-sized pumps last 15+ years.

GPDA extended warranty access. Standard Goulds warranty is 12 months from installation / 18 months from manufacture. As a Goulds Professional Dealer Association (GPDA) supplier, we can offer the extended 36 months installation / 42 months manufacture warranty on qualifying installations — triple the coverage for the same equipment.

Houston-based, Gulf Coast focused. Texas, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and New Mexico residential service. Local technical support, faster shipping, and Houston-area service partner coordination for installation.

Residential Goulds — Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I need a jet pump or AquaCase?
Jet pump — pulling water from a well to your home. AquaCase — boosting pressure on an existing water supply (city water with low pressure, or repressurizing from a cistern). They solve different problems. If you're not sure which applies, send us your situation and we'll confirm.
What size pump do I need for my home?
Sizing depends on number of bathrooms, peak fixture demand, well characteristics, and pressure requirements. A typical 3-bedroom home requires 8–10 GPM at peak demand. We size to peak demand (not average) so the pump never gets stressed during high-use periods. Send us your home details and we'll confirm.
Is a tank package worth it vs buying components separately?
Tank packages combine the pump, pre-charged pressure tank, and pressure switch in a matched set — sized for proper cycling and tested at the factory. Cost is similar to component pricing, but installation is faster and the components are guaranteed to work together. For most residential installations, tank packages make sense. For non-standard situations, component selection may be preferred.
What's the typical lead time on residential Goulds equipment?
Common residential models (JRS, J+, JRD, AquaCase AC10) typically ship within 1–4 weeks. Less common configurations (3-phase jet pumps, 50 Hz international, custom tank packages) can run 3–6 weeks. Exact lead time confirmed on every quote.
Do you handle installation or just supply?
We supply the equipment. For installation, we coordinate with Goulds-authorized service partners in your area. Most residential installations require a licensed plumber and electrician — we can provide installation drawings and specifications to support your installer.
What about warranty coverage?
All new Goulds residential equipment carries the standard 12 months installation / 18 months manufacture warranty. As a Goulds Professional Dealer Association (GPDA) supplier, we can offer extended coverage of 36 months installation / 42 months manufacture on qualifying installations. Coverage details confirmed at time of order.
