About the AquaCase AC10

A new approach to residential pressure boost — eliminate the multi-component installation.

Goulds Water Technology AquaCase delivers complete residential pressure boosting in a single compact, weatherproof case. Variable speed pump, motor, pressure sensor, smart controller, and integrated tank — all pre-engineered, pre-wired, and pre-tested at the factory. No multi-component installation, no field plumbing of tank-pump-controller assemblies, no wiring between components. Open the box, connect input water and discharge, plug in, and boost.

The AC10 model addresses a common residential problem: low water pressure from the municipal supply. Typical home water pressure drops sharply when demand peaks (multiple fixtures running simultaneously). AquaCase makes up the pressure difference at peak demand, delivering constant pressure throughout the home. It can also re-pressurize water from a cistern or holding tank where municipal supply isn't available.

Built-in Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity enables remote monitoring and control through a free smartphone app. Real-time system feedback, automatic data logging, and protection alerts — dry run, motor overcurrent, open lead, low system pressure, overheating, short circuit, over/under voltage. Field-upgradable software unlocks new features without removing the unit from service.

AquaCase Features

Engineering features that make AquaCase the residential boost system of choice.

Plug-and-Play Installation

Pump, motor, controller, sensor, and tank in one compact unit. Ready to install with minimal setup — typical installation under 1 hour.

Variable Speed Control

Advanced speed control technology adjusts motor speed to match demand. Maximizes energy savings without compromising delivered pressure.

Wi-Fi & Bluetooth

Monitor and control via free smartphone app. Real-time system feedback, performance data, and protection alerts on demand.

Dual Mechanical Seals

Integrated primary and secondary mechanical seals for long-life, leak-free operation. Sealed dual-seal design extends service life.

AquaCase Applications

Where AquaCase is specified — residential, light commercial, and small irrigation pressure boost.

Residential Pressure Boost

Single-family homes with low municipal water pressure. AquaCase makes up the pressure difference at peak demand for constant pressure throughout the home.

Cistern / Holding Tank Repressurization

Re-pressurize water from a cistern, well storage tank, or rainwater collection system to deliver consistent pressure to the home or building.

Multi-Unit Dwellings

Small multi-family buildings, duplexes, and townhomes where pressure boost is required for upper floors. Compact form factor fits utility room installations.

Irrigation & Sprinklers

Residential irrigation and sprinkler systems requiring consistent flow and pressure. Variable speed adjusts to zone-by-zone demand changes.

Basement / Utility Room Installs

Compact 21.4" × 11.3" × 13" footprint fits standard utility room placement. Outdoor-rated for installation in unconditioned spaces.

Light Commercial Buildings

Small commercial buildings, offices, and retail spaces requiring residential-class pressure boosting with smart monitoring.

AquaCase Sizing Support

Quick decisions to confirm AquaCase is right for your application.

Voltage Selection

230V configuration is preferred for households with 3+ bathrooms or simultaneous high-demand fixtures (laundry + shower + dishwasher). 115V suits smaller homes and apartments.

Setpoint Configuration

Standard residential boost: 50–60 PSI setpoint. Higher setpoint (70–80 PSI) for tall homes or distant fixtures. Field-adjustable through HMI.

AquaCase vs Hydrovar X

AquaCase: single-family residential, 38 GPM max. Hydrovar X (e-HVX/e-HVXR/e-HMX): commercial buildings, multi-pump systems, higher flow capacity.

Installation Requirements

15A breaker, inlet pressure source (municipal or cistern), discharge plumbing to home distribution. Wi-Fi access for app connectivity (optional).

AquaCase — Frequently Asked Questions

Should I choose 115V or 230V AquaCase?
230V is preferred for most installations — it delivers higher flow capacity (38 GPM max vs 30 GPM on 115V) and operates more efficiently. Choose 230V if your home has 3+ bathrooms or you regularly run multiple high-demand fixtures simultaneously. 115V is sufficient for smaller homes, apartments, and applications where the existing electrical service doesn't include 230V.
Can AquaCase work with my well system?
Yes — AquaCase can re-pressurize water from a cistern or storage tank. If your well system uses a storage tank (gravity-fed or pump-fed) before distribution, AquaCase can boost from the tank to deliver consistent pressure throughout the home. For direct well-to-home applications without a storage tank, you'd typically use a Goulds jet pump or submersible pump instead — those are designed for direct well service.
What does the smartphone app do?
The free Goulds smartphone app connects via Bluetooth (local) or Wi-Fi (remote) for real-time system monitoring and control. View current operating pressure, motor speed, run time, fault history, and energy usage. Configure pressure setpoints, schedule downtime, and receive alerts for protection events (dry run, overheating, etc.). Also enables future firmware updates without removing the unit from service.
Can AquaCase be installed outdoors?
Yes — UL Type 3R rating qualifies AquaCase for outdoor installation. Rain, dust, and incidental water spray are not problems. Operating temperature range is 32°F to 122°F — in colder climates, the system should be installed in a location protected from freezing (or with appropriate freeze protection). The outdoor rating makes AquaCase ideal for utility-room installations in unconditioned spaces.
How does AquaCase compare to a separate pump + tank + controller setup?
A traditional residential boost system requires field assembly of separate components: pump, pressure tank, pressure switch, controller, wiring, and plumbing connections. AquaCase replaces all of that with a single pre-engineered, pre-tested unit. Faster installation (under 1 hour typical vs half a day), no field-wiring errors, factory-tested operation, integrated smart controls, and a single warranty point.
Is AquaCase NSF certified for drinking water?
Yes — NSF/ANSI 61 and 372 certified for drinking water service. NSF 61 limits chemical leaching from pump materials in contact with drinking water. NSF 372 limits lead content. Both are required for residential drinking water applications in most jurisdictions and are commonly required by local plumbing codes.
What's the typical lead time on AquaCase?
AquaCase AC10 typically ships within 2–4 weeks from order. As a single-SKU product (with voltage as a configuration option), inventory is generally well-stocked at Goulds distribution centers. Exact lead time confirmed on every quote.
