This is the CD65 hydraulic end on its own: base, stainless impeller stack, cartridge seal and motor stool, ready for a NEMA TC-frame motor. Use it to rebuild a CD65 without replacing a sound motor, or to pair the pump with a motor you already hold. The model number gives the nominal flow (65 m3/h, about 286 GPM) and the stage count; the motor frame each model takes is in the option list and in the table below. Fill and vent the pump before it starts.
Included: the CD65 pump end (wet end) only, with its cartridge mechanical seal and 4 in ANSI Class 300 flanged suction and discharge, for the motor frame shown in your selection.
Motor required, ordered separately. A NEMA TC-frame TEFC motor of the frame and horsepower shown for your model in the table under Models & Performance; TIGERFLOW says to make sure the motor meets all the pump’s technical requirements. Our TIGERFLOW TEFC motors cover 3/4 to 30 HP, 56C to 286TSC.
Motor protection, flanges and valves: sized to your installation and ordered separately: a motor-protective breaker, isolation valves on both sides, a non-return valve, and our NPT companion flange kits for the ports.
Covered by TIGERFLOW’s one-year guarantee under normal operating conditions, as stated in the CD Series installation, operation and maintenance manual. Wearable parts are not covered by the guarantee, and any inadequate use of the product voids it (manufacturer’s wording).

With the motor fitted, each pump end develops the pressure below, in PSI. The first column is the shut-off, the most the model can make.

Read from the published CD65 curves in the TIGERFLOW CD Series Vertical Multistage Pumps catalog (60 Hz, 3500 RPM), pp. 27-28, digitized from the catalog’s vector curve data and rounded down to whole PSI. Zero flow is the shut-off point — a ceiling, not a working point; TIGERFLOW prints no separate shut-off figure, so the 0 GPM column is where the dashed part of each curve meets zero flow. The solid (recommended) part of each curve starts at 176.1 GPM; 180 GPM is the first column inside it, the next two sit near 50% and 75% of the curve end, and the last column is the last regular digitized flow every curve reaches (the curve end is named above the table where it runs a little further). Single- and three-phase builds and the HP options of the same model run on the same curve. Feet of head = PSI × 2.31. The full curve, with power per stage and NPSHr, is in the image gallery.
Best operating range: 176.1 to 440.3 GPM, the solid section of the published curve.
| Motor | Not included. Match the frame and HP above; motors over 5 HP must be installed on a stand. |
| Maximum pressure | Incoming pressure plus the shut-off pressure must stay below 362 PSI. |
| Suction | Fill and vent before start; where the suction calculation in the manual comes out negative, that much inlet pressure must be guaranteed. |
| Minimum flow | Never run against a closed discharge valve or below the minimum recommended flow. |
| Water | Clean, solid-free water. |
