Overview
The NBE is Grundfos’s single-stage, end suction volute pump in its US Range 6 build: NEMA motor, ANSI Class 125 flanges, assembled in Brookshire, Texas. It is close-coupled: no base plate, no grouting and no pump-to-motor alignment. Top centerline discharge self-vents, and the back pull-out design lets the motor, motor stool and impeller come out without disturbing the pump housing or the pipes. The motor has a built-in frequency converter and Grundfos control software, so the pump runs at the speed the system needs. Builds listed With Sensor ship with a pressure sensor fitted for constant-pressure or proportional-pressure control. Each part number is one pump size with one trimmed impeller and one motor; the table below gives the rated duty point Grundfos publishes for each.
