Overview

SBA is a submersible pump for supplying a house or garden from a rainwater tank, cistern or well. It sits in the water, so there is no priming and almost no noise. Built-in controls start the pump when a tap opens (start pressure about 32 psi) and stop it when the flow stops; a built-in non-return valve holds the line, and the float switch stops the pump before the tank runs dry.

SBA 3-45 A draws through a fixed inlet strainer near the bottom of the pump. SBA 3-45 AW adds a floating suction hose and strainer that draws just below the surface, where rainwater is cleanest and away from settled sludge.

Included: the pump with 44.9 ft cable and 115V plug, float switch, and on the AW the floating inlet strainer with hose.

Ships: about 31-32 lb, by parcel.

Needed to run: a 1 in discharge line, a GFCI-protected 115V outlet, and a lifting rope.
